I was referred to Dr Karu by my PCP and, when I arrived and went to sign-in at the front desk, I saw that they had a list of all the appointments expected that day (highlighting off the people that already signed-in) and all the files (including my new one) already stacked on the desk and ready to go. They were clearly all very organised and there was hardly any wait time before I was seen by the doctor. He was then able to completely explain to me the process expected to schedule an out-patient surgery I need, including taking care of all the administrative things for me. I’ve been a patient of his for over 25 years. He is fantastic! He has done two surgeries on me when hospitalized. I wouldn’t let anyone else touch me. He cares and goes the extra mile to make sure his patients are take care of too. Years ago I had appendicitis when I went to his office. It was so bad he had his nurse drive me to the hospital so they could get me ready for surgery while he finished with a patient he was doing a procedure on. He the went to the hospital and removed it ASAP. Couldn’t pick a better Doctor!!!
